Professional Support

The Pediatrics Section offers regular Ontario Pediatrician Pearls Update (OPPU) and Pediatric News newsletters, billing resources, and new to practice supports, specifically for pediatricians that have been developed to help manage your medical practice, career, personal health and wellbeing.

Community Development

Connect and network with your pediatric colleages or find leadership opportunities within the Executive Committee or its sub-committees to support, strengthen and develop our pediatric community! Build relationships and demonstrate your thought leadership through committees and elected positions. Post or apply for pediatric job opportunities.

Educational Opportunities

The Pediatric Section, OMA offers a variety of in-person and virtual events throughout the year for free or at a discounted rate for its Premium Members.  Premium Members also receive newsletters full of opportunities specifically geared towards pediatricians.

New or returning members of the Section can pay their voluntary membership dues of $400/year at the time of the renewal of their OMA fees, or throughout the year online and following these directions:

  1. Go to www.oma.org/myaccount and log in using your username (OMA number or email address on file) and password.
  2. Once logged in to “myaccount,” Click on the Pay Constituency Fees tab. Members in their first and second years of practice receive a 50% discount.
  3. Click on the Next Step tab to review or enter your payment information.
  4. Click on the Next Step tab to confirm your details.
  5. Click on Submit tab.
